I saw it done once here too - they replaced the firewall with an Aussie one :P Easy way to keep the EF8 together and "road-registerable". Pity they got busted and the car was crushed :?

We seem to be getting the JDM Si and SiR 'rexs in here more so people are going that way rather than buying an ED 'rex. Same car, but it's cheaper to buy and import from Japan than buy an Aussie spec one.

Import runs to about 4 grand US and domestic is between 5-6 grand US.
