Though you all would be more helpful..though Zex i/e already done

Rathe than wait for a respnse from the blue blood crowd i took a page from my experiences with the Z06 & Ws6..

i picked up a new used Zex for 200 bucks stuck the 65hp jet in.. put on magnaflow dual in dual out with black chrme reactve tips.. New Yoko's and had my exhuast man .. mandrel bend a cutom intake pitewith a nice9 inch K&N with a good air route pickup so its getting alot more ambient than underhood heated air.. those mods cost about $1400 total

and though not tested i'd say this car is running 12's just barely.. from the cars i've romped on even a stock 03 Cobra he was a Non factor.

Now i've made a direct comparison on the M3and LPE Ws6 and i've found that even though the Ws6 is heavier the contact patch and the heavy duty (1le) suspension that a Ws6 comes with.. and with the right rubber.. feels as nimble and crisp( yes don't knock the 1le factory suspension unless you've tried it.. its easily capable of a.92 g skid..Just like a Stock C5 Vette).. for a moment i though it wouldn't be the case.. but surprisingly i find that the old live axle setup is a viable contender.

Ps.. it wonderful working with the different engineering aspects of the respective Countries car.. there is no question the M3 commands an authoratative Build feel.. thats unlike ( not necessarily better) the American Hi-po sports cars.. hence i did do the M3 / Ws6 handling test back to back
