I had pretty good luck with Slick 50 One-lube. It's about the consistency of a heavy mineral oil or something (supposed to have teflon in it too I guess). I still had occasional troubles even after, but there was a decided improvement. What finally solved my problem for good (well, the last month with no trouble) was a new alternator and battery. It seems that my antenna was really touchy to lower voltages.
Yup we made the news alright!!!! lol BRRRRR -9 lastnite

Well I'm pretty sure its not a voltage thing!
The other day it was in the 30's and I knew it was gonna get real cold in the next few days so I went to the wash, and rinsed off the salt. Well I'll be damned if the temp didn't drop like 30 degree's in the next few hours and my antenna was froze so I whacked it once lol and then I helped it up thru opening. Since, I've had to help it a couple times.

Think I just need to get rid of the moisture and get it lubed.
Thanks guys
