By the way I did all of this on my car (cavalier, Z24, and bowtie) and it worked great. Nothing needs painting unless you slip with the screwdriver. The factory paint is very tough. I went to an autobody shop to ask about taking some painted on pinstriping off and they told me to use oven cleaner. It worked for me and if oven cleaner wont damage paint i dont think much will.
