I can't believe that it would work - could you send a link?

I work for an aerospace company and, among other things, we design and manufacture high-performance turbomachinery here (read: high pressure and/or high flow aerospace grade fans). From what I understand, turbos can generate from 8-12 psi of boost, though I don't know how MUCH air (in cfm) they generate. I'd need both sides of the equation to fully calculate, but at 8-12 psi, you're effectively talking about a low volume compressor.

We've got a unit that generates about 2 psi at 90cfm, works at 28 volts and draws far more amps than the average component in your car. Based on this, I can't see how an "electric blower", as it were, is feasible.
