it would be electric. Mine is starting to act up and come open after the car is warm. I really wish I knew how to fix it but I hate messing with quadrajets. cleaned it and lubed all the parts I could see of it. its getting a lil better , hopefully it will go away lol (how often does that happen ??? lol)
