That's crazy detailed kit. More than 200 parts.
Seems it will cost me LOT of my winter evenings
Body molded in white, interior and engine parts in gray.
Body parts include:
body itself, chassis, front skirt and bumper,
engine hood (two parts), radiator and hood mounting,
trunk lid (two parts), rear spoiler and bumper
Engine bay details:
engine block, intakes and headers, turbocharger,
plug wires, belts and pulleys, oil pan, transmission,
radiator, brake master cylinder and fluid reservoirs
isn't enough to go nuts?
Wheel mounting assembly more complicated than in Tamiya
kits. Wheels attach with bolts screwed into the hubs
Spare wheel is fake (plastic) so tire have to be painted
Should I use flat black to imitate rubber tire?
Assembly instruction mostly in Japanese. Color spesifications
given for Gunze Sangyo. Does anybody has Gunze color chart?
I use Tamiya paints and need to match as close as possible
p.s. Too much work ahead. Porsche 959 in half-painted state,
911GT3 coming close to finish. I don't think I will start soon with
this Alpina but it looks to be exciting
