No, if I'm just sitting there, seatbelt on or off, car not running, it beeps if i have the key in, in either the off or the I position
I can turn it to II, which is the "run" position the car should be in when its running, and it wont beep there but i dont know if its ok to sit in the car listening to the radio like that. I know on older cars it was actually bad for them to do that (and of course thats the whole point of having the I position anyways!)
yeah, it's annoying as hell
