super fine grit sand paper
flat primer
semi-gloss (satin) spraypaint
semi-gloss (satin) clearcoat
Take out all your plastic parts, sand down the entire painting area and wash off with water, spray a few light coats of primer.. waiting about 5-10 min in between each one, then spray light coats of paint on top of that, waiting about 10 min in between coats, then 3-4 light coats of clear coat, and voila. The color of paint is up to you, but remember, make sure it's a color you really really want and make it clean so you don't get tired of, or regret it.
