This was built as a Christmas present for one of my friends. He "built" one like it on the Porsche website to his ultimate specifications; then a month later one just like it showed up at the local dealer. Sweet color combo, and it sold very quickly. It's a basic Italeri Porsche 911 Cabriolet, I just started it late Saturday and it's definitely a "quickey", no extra detail and I cheated/cut corners on a few items

. Paint is Tamiya pure white, interior airbrushed in a darkish blue acrylic (Tamiya). Rims were robbed from a Maisto diecast 911, modified to fit the Italeri suspension. I hogged out some XS Tuning brake discs to fit as well. Pretty basic kit, no major problems encountered, looks nearly as good as a Tamiya, and in fact some areas look better (headlight lenses and seats). I think it turned out pretty decent, and I'm halfway finished w/a second one that got painted at the same time. It's the same car, same interior, but painted Tamiya pearl light blue. I think I may prefer the white...
