what engine?
As I drove my car with 302k miles this weekend I notice the oil gauge light blink on for a second. So I pull into walmart and took a look at the oil dipstick. It was dry to the bone. I quickly add 3 quart of synthetic blend to the engine. I felt good because it was the first time I ever add oil to my car "wow".
Now I want to do the next thing which is change the filter and transmission oil. The problem I have is that I don't know what engine I have. I know it's got to be D15 since its a 94 honda civic DX.
Is there's any way you can tell by looking at engine to see what kind of engine you have?
What could cause me to lose oil since there's no leak I notice from engine, could the oil just evaporate?
