You can do anything if you have the money... A B20 is another torque monster hungry for boost, but is torque enough for a good all-motor buildup I guess. I don't have any experience with those besides what's been discussed on here though, sorry. I do know that CRVtec engines are great all-motor engines with huge torque and respectable hp numbers. You sound a little confused on what you want though... you've gone from a c5, turbo ls, turbo c1, to all motor b20's... What do you want from your car? Do you want a dragstrip whore, light autocrosser, or just something to beat around the street?
