VTEC (might wanna remember how to spell that around here) Kicks in at about 5200 rpm I believe.

hmmmm shift points to make a car last longer... I haven't had any luck with that yet. but if I am trying to baby her or save some gas I just try and shift around 3000 rpm..... but most of the time I forget and shift around 5-6000, and for racing I bring her up to just under redline of 8000 rpm 'cept for launch then I do to it at about 1500-2000 (studded winter snow tires) or about 3000-4000 for my summer tires.
