It depends what kind of condition the car is in now and how far you are willing to go with the restoration. I know a guy who spent over $50,000 on a frame-off restoration on a '65 GTO. But this is a show quality car and was restored to perfection. A LeMans would cost less and you probably won't be making it a grade A show car. I would look around at some catalogs (Performance Years, YearOne, Original Parts Group) and see what kind of prices the parts you need are. I am in the middle of a 1966 GTO restoration and some things can get very pricey. Also consider a place to be working on the car and how many hours you can put into it.
