I agree that the the E55 AMG is far from the "Ultimate Drving Machine" as the M5/M3 are billed to be. The fact that they have awesome straightline performance is overshadowed by the fact that it does have 500hp and are quite heavy. I think of them as great highway cruisers/racers.
I have a video of a stock E55 just RAPING a modified '03 Cobra with over 500hp.
As for my choices: 1) M5 2) RS6 3) E55 4) S-type
