If you just want the car for an around town car, I would just replace it with the stock motor, or look for a sohc zc since they have low miles. You can look for a newer motor too such as a d16y7. I would stick with a non vtec motor to keep the swap as simple as possible. Are you going to reuse your tranny? If you have any more questions feel free to ask and I hopew this helps you a little.
