Opening the hood (a couple of inches) and disabling the alarm is a piece of cake. The fix does nothing to prevent it. Getting 2001 AE headlights would be the way to avoid getting them stolen in high risk areas where they keep on coming back to do it again. Somebody had a write-up, but I can't seemed to find it. I suggest you post the question at the 5th Gen forum at Maxima.org.
