im going through this same swap right now. i changed the timing belt, water pump, thermostat, oil pan gasket, head gasket, spark plugs, but if i were you i would wait to put the b16 head on. its alot of work to build a good ls/vtec engine.

check this site out. i think if you wanted to a little more hp then maybe you should buy some decent cams before you jump into the ls/vtec setup.
