2002 Silverado
I have a 2002 Silverado with a 5.3 in it and I can't seem to get it to run. Some history on this truck, I bought it wrecked and had it running and it seemed to run well. While I was repairing the truck something came up and I had to move it out of the garage for a couple of days without I windshield in it. Well it rained over night and I did not have the dash covered. The truck has since dried out but I have not been able to get it to run. Here is what I have:
The engine will crank and fire like it wants to run but then dies right away. Generally reaches 1100-1400rpms.
Have around 60psi of fuel, had 48psi and then changed the fuel regulator.
Spark plugs have been changed as well as the gas in the fuel tank has been emptied and replentished with fresh fuel.
I don't have anything to read the codes from the computer with but I am guessing that will have to be the next place to go.
