If you get good speakers and a big amp, go with the sealed box. I think it gives the best sound quality and hits the widest range of frequencies. A bandpass box will give you the most boom for your buck (i.e. being loud even with a small amp) but their are some frequencies that just don't hit and when you listen to songs with them it will annoy the hell out of you.
