change the oil and filter and readjust all the rockersand get new plugswires and cap and rotor and retighten all the carb screws and make sure its bolted down tight still

hold carb open with engine running and slap choke shut on it for about a full second and then open it back up and let it catch up,


all of that will make it run better
should be very noticeable improvement
