Question how do i beef up a 22R?

does anyone have any ideas on how to get the most potential out of an '88 22R? i've got it pulled and swingin in a tree and when i get up enough cash am going to get it rebuilt. but instead of getting a standard rebuild set at standard specs i was going to try and get it beefed up a bit! what would i ask for: a hotter cam, a hotter crank with longer rods? and if so will i need a stronger oil pump? with possibly a deeper pan? and when i get the engine back against the tranny would a hotter coil help or perhaps the use of two coils side by side then spliced just ahead of the distributor cap? i know this wouldn't really increase the charge but it would take away the chance of any kind of spark break down when the throttle's open! just trying to get some ideas. thank you!
