Just keep in mind that venting the BOV will piss off the ECU on a regular basis.

As long as she is willing to deal with the car, its fine otherwise. For a performance BOV, I certainly recomend the 1G BOV as well. You should upgrade the upper intercooler pipe (UICP) in either case, which requires switching to an aftermarket open element filter like the K&N. People run the K&N all the way down to the 10s too. www.dejontool.com for some affordable UICPs. The K&N with adapter should be no more than 75-90 bucks, and the UICP should be no more than 100ish. Good luck, I dont think you'll have any trouble with the install with your experience.
