Dude, the Del Sol DID COME WITH AN OPTION FOR A B16A FOR A FEW YEARS. IT WAS CALLED THE DEL SOL VTEC, MANY YOU'VE HEARD OF IT. This is not wrong info, but fact. Ask Honda, go find a Del Sol Vtec and pop the hood. Regular trim Del Sol's had a D16Z6, not B16A, but the Del Sol Vtec trim (made in 96-97) had a B16A under the hood from the factory. It was not a mass produced car, but it was produced. Del Sol's in the us did come with a B16A....not all del sol's, but some, the Del Sol Vtecs. (I beleive the 96-97 Del Sol's came with the option for the B16A powered Del Sol Vtec)...I get so sick of people coming in here and saying things like this without properly looking up the info. There were 2 cars in the US released with a B16A...the Del Sol Vtec (B16A) and the 99-00 Si (B16A). Neither were a mass produced Honda, per say, like the EX, etc civics were. But they were released. Look up the codes, all the engine books, etc, all list the Del Sol Vtec as having a B16A as well as the Si. I can't believe someone actually came in here and told us "you're wrong, the del sol never came with a B16A, must have been thinking of the 98+ Si." Ok, besided that being wrong (The Del Sol Vtec had a B16A), the Si was not 98+, it was 99-00. Get the facts straight before you say them.

To crxlvr, you may be right about the exact codes, though I swear I remember it the other way around. I'll check out the codes when I get home tonight to see which one had the B16A2 and which had the B16A3. I'll post it tomarrow. I have multiple sources I can cross-reference there, so I'll check and post it tomarrow afternoon.
