Yeah, they were the first Japanese car manufacturer to win Le Mans (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) and finished 27.2km in front of the second position... Although I'm not sure about your reason for them retiring the next year, I'm tending to think it also had something to do with the fact that they decided not to allow rotary powered cars to race in 1992 (again, correct me if I'm wrong...)
