Well the b16a2 as about 10 or so more horse power, not really sure why. Head flows better? I have no idea, but would like to know if someone can answer that.
And the b16a1 has a cable tranny, while the b16a2 has a hydro tranny. if you have a fourth gen, which I guess you do, the b16a1 will go in easier, since fourth gens also have cable trannys. 92 and up have hydro trannys.
