Ok I got a story for you. Sparknotes at the bottom.

My friends and I were coming back from this girl's house on a saturday night when I got the BRIGHT IDEA to race my friend's accord (we were in two separate cars and my friend was driving my car).

So i say," I know this street we can do it, just follow my car."

I make it a habit to cruise up and down the race spot to check it out for any hidden cops, intersections, etc. So we cruise up and down, and nobody is around except for the random passing car. On our way back to the starting line, my friend says "Lets race here instead", so we make a right and line up immediately (without checking out the road ).

We go on three honks, and we get up to 80-85 mph when we shut down. We flip a bitch to turn around, and we line up to go for it again. In the middle of our second race, a pair of headlights turn on behind us, and its the Police. My friend steps on it, takes a corner at like 60, pulls into this parking lot QUICK. Like a moron, my other friend in the accord follows us and leads the cops right to us. The guy drivin my car gets ticketed for 75 in a 35 AND speed contest, the other guy in the Accord gets arrested (no license) and got an identical ticket, and we all go home in silence minus one friend.

Here's my analysis of what went wrong:

One: Letting my friend drive my car.

Two: NOT checking out the road for the proposed race, because I would have spotted the cop instantly (doh! ).

Three: My dumbass friend in the Accord following us to our hideout with the cop trailing him (I wanted to slap him for that). BTW, its a stupid idea to run from the cops. I dont recommend it.

Four:Organizing a race on Saturday night. Just overall a bad idea.

Sparknotes:
Got caught racing, 75 in a 35 and speed contest ticket. ALL BAD.
Dont know how much the ticket ended up being, but 75 in a 35 IS more than double so it may be steep. In the end, my car still won .

That's my story.
