Well the battery is like any other car batery. I would suggest the Optima dry cell. They are a little more expensive, but are a much better battery than the rest. The carb, if it is a 4bbl, was a Holley. I would suggest switching to a Road Demon. This can be purchased from Summit or Jeg's and the like. If you have the money I would suggest getting hard seats put in the heads so you can run regular gas. Engine parts are not hard to find as well as tranny parts (being mopar). The body is a totally different story, you will normally only find used. There are some good links at
