I found a replacement handle for $17.00 online at
www.gm-parts-dealer.com. Don't know anything about them but got quick service. The part appears to be used and was the wrong color (took a chance)so I pulled the springs and installed in my original part. Works great now. Pretty pricy for a couple of little springs.
