It has been awhile since you posted this thread so you may have already solved your problem, but I just joined and it so happens had this repair done on my '93 two days ago. You need to get the Idle Air inlet hose replaced. This hose connects to the airbox tube just before the throttle body. I was quoted $15 from the Ford dealership. My mechanic charged me $25 but he installed for me which I would recommend because the back end of the tube plugs into a connection that is between the firewall and the back of the motor.
