Showing off for people doesnt work, thats what I learned with my experience
I was washing the front of a tri-axle dumptruck with windex (hey, its what the guy that owned it gave me *shrug*). My friend and I were sitting on the front while cleaning it. So after successfully getting the inside and ½ the outside done, one of my dad's customers came up. His music caught my attention, so I leaned over and was like: "ooh gotta impress the hottie somehow... "(tpyical for me). So my friend and I were kind of showing off cleaning the truck, when all of a sudden, I slid off the front of it backwards, down to the bumper, about 4½ feet below me. He turned around and started to laugh, I started laughing & turning red, and my friend started laughing. The guy goes inside, and must've told my dad and the guy that worked there about it, cuz as soon as I walked in, they started cracking up. I have not washed the front of the dumptruck since then. And I only got $1.50 for cleaning it, after all that
! Needless to say, the news of it got around to friends and family pretty fast. :o
Another one was when I was dancing at the local club, they had this platform which my friends were dancing on. They wanted me to join them. One of the guys I then liked was watching, and first I banged my head while ducking under the railing, and then I nearly fell off the damn thing because of my shoes..
I've had plenty more, just too lazy to type them all.
