1) AWD and turbo. People have run mid 12s for 4000 dollars, including the cost of the car
Try that in a FWD.
2) turbo back exhaust (600), K&N, MBC (50), fuel pump (100). You may need to hack the MAS to get around fue cut, maybe not.
3) depends on where it is. A southern car is going to last much longer than the salty POSs up here in the northeast. But most people are still sporting 90's in great shape, aside from breakingoff every bolt you try to remove
