Actually they USE CTR's in Japan. Completely different from even the US counterpart. Most EK9 tuners never even take it close to the CTR in stock form. I suggest you choose your own path or you'll regret it but IMO I'd do both.
Which is better overall? Neither. The Tuning capabilities are exactly the same except the EG is lighter. Which is better in stock form? The EG Si of course.
