Unhappy Clutch problem with '03 Accord 6MT - HELP!

I have an '03 Honda Accord EX-V6 6MT. Last night I was playing around a bit and accelerated slipping the clutch all the way up through 6000rpm in 1st. Immediately I could smell burnt clutch... what an awful stink.

At first I thought I probably just burnt up some material on the clutch plate and when it wears away so will the smell.

Driving it after that, I've noticed that there seems to be a shudder when engaging the clutch (letting up on the pedal). Sometimes it's barely noticeable, but a few times the car has actually shaken enough to cause all the creaks to start creaking... It's much worse in 1st gear than the others.

It's strange because it seems to happen more when it's cold. On the way to work this morning, it was shuddering like crazy at the first couple launches, but by the time I got here it wasn't doing it anymore.

I've heard that shuddering can be caused by a worn throwout bearing. I would really have to replace it with only 8k km on the car.

Is it possible that there's still some loose material in the clutch assembly that's sticking a bit? This seems to make sense since the shuddering goes away after a little bit of driving.

Any advice from the transmission experts out there would be greatly appreciated.
