If you want an all motor car, porting heads, upgrading pistons, cam gears/shafts, motor bushings, and whatever else would make your car a little more faster. There really is not much you can do with an F22B SOHC motor since they are fairly difficult to get power.

Sorry for the confusion but I was told it could not be turboed, that the cylnder walls were too weak to withstand the boost. Thank you for your input I will have to check it out further.
Would you suggest going ahead with a swap because it is difficult to juice this motor for power? I am having a hard time getting my headers installed (I'd love to do them myself but alas no tools and no place to work on it

) much less getting a full swap done. I was hoping to put off a swap until next spring or so. Do I need to replace tha axles and modify the suspension to accomodate a swap?
