Yeah I just got the axles changed on my car- 95 civic EX coupe, they were clicking and had been for a while. The CV Boot was completely ripped open so that there were two different sides to the boot- it was of course originally one sealed piece. I would also suggest just changing the whole axle. The hardest part I had was getting the nut and two screws that hold on the brake rotor off and making that damn shield in back of the rotor stop rubbing against the rotor itself

. All in all not to difficult though. Just make sure you get good replacement axles. Unless you get a hook-up though, like I did, it is going to cost you to go to a shop. A good price at a shop I checked was $302 and some change for my car. I got it done for $200 even including labor which was only $20 a side- I replaced both cuz both were fucked up bad.
