I just bought a 92 Si not even four months ago. The personal seller was kind of shady and didn't disclose everything wrong with the car. Now I am dropping the 93 H22 engine into it. The car had 182,000 on it and I paid 4,000 for the car, and now I'm dropping another 3,200 into for the swap. It wasn't money I had planned on spending right away, you know what I'm sayin'?

The best advice I can give you is get the car for an hour, have a predertimined, reputable mechanic look at the car. Not any Joe Schmoe, someone you trust. If it is in sound condition then yes 3,500 is a very good price. Take into mind the few cosmetic problems, and you'll have a fun, torque engine to play around with, in a car that handles extremely well stock.
