Somewhere in here, someone said something about a Camaro (SS?)
getting 14.3 in the q. WHAT? Since the introduction of the last gen of Camaro/F-bird, GM tuned the Z28/TA for 100mph in the q. This translates to 14.0 seconds on average. The SS was tuned for 105 in the q. So, sure you might have seen a 14.3...maybe that person was unfamiliar with drag racing, maybe they had 600lbs of stereo in the back, maybe their car just sucks (like my truck). WHAT? Any normal or mostly normal small-size pickup (save Sy/Ty) will never touch a V-8 Camaro ( or any Cam/Fbird with a 3800, for that matter). That's just silly. Silly like the immature people who keep posting about how fast their trucks are. There are only 2 fast trucks, GET IT? GOT ONE? Then we would like to hear about it. Would you like me to describe my truck and it's experience to you. IT"S SLOW!!! Painfully. I estimate a 19.0 @ 61mph, and I am going to race on Thursday now that I know I can prove I have the slowest truck here. (BTW, maximum indicated speed since I have owned this vehicle for 4 weeks is 72mph.) If you wanna feel like you are going faster than everyone else, go out and get you a motorcycle (the anti-truck), I recommend a Hayabusa. Do you little dudes with hard-ons for their Xtremes know what a Hayabusa is? You have probably seen one before but didn't know it because it went by so fast. hmmm...
