This is like a family trait, having similar looks.
So when you see the styling, you'll recognize the brand.
European automakers tends to do this,
like Audi, BMW, Volvo, Jaguar, Porsche.
But for Japanese automakers, most of their models are very different.
But now Nissan also doing what the Europeans does
(maybe because its owned by Renualt, an European automaker?)
The new Nissans, like Maxima, Quest, Titan, Armada, their front grills are all very similar.
I think there are both good and bad to this.
We as consumers, might complain about its all similar designs.
But as for the automakers,
they are probably happy about this. (Or they won't be doing it)
Because what they are trying to do is to have their brand name go deeply inside our brains, hoping their brand is the only one we know.
