the best bang for the buck would probably be the CDT audio Classic series. its $149 shipped at thezeb.com. CDT is one of the most respected companies out there. SQ-based company. they compete with focal, dynaudio, rainbow, etc..
the components use to go for $300 and now its only half price. not to mention 3 year warranty which is a good thing.
