all u have to do, is just cut the the peg off the spindle, then glue it back on the spindle at the top. simple as that.just remember, when the peg is cut and glued, it becomes weaker.  |
pics we need pics, this is more of a drawing of what a dropped spindle looks like than a howto.
And heres a hint- instead of just hacking off the spindle and re-gluing it which is indeed very weak and shorter to boot- hack it off and drill a small hole for a new spindle made from a styrene rod. THis will be very strong.
