I would go with the Baer set-up, they are a company that deals with brakes, brakes, & brakes. Not like AEM, which does a bit of every thing. Don't get me wrong AEM is still a good set-up.

How about some Ferrari F40 brakes? 6 piston calipers on 13" rotors(i think, possibly larger). One of the M3 race cars we work on has the F40 set-up, supra race car has Porsche brakes, not sure from what.
If you do upgrage to larger calipers, their full potenial won't be achieved unless a larger master cylinder & better brake booster is installed.
I'm glad your thinkin' about stopping power before its too late, like lots of people seem to do.
A fast car to me is one that can accelerate quickly, handle very well, & stop FAST & straight. There should be a new type of racing - 1000' straight into a flat tight turn followed by a fast banked corner & stopping after a certain point - total elapsed time. F1 cars would do very well on a track like with all that traction control & ABS crap.
