if you or a friend can get to it. Pump air into the offending cylinder. Listen to the trottlebody, if you hear airflow there it's a bad intake valve. Go to the exaust pipe while pumping in the air and if you hear the air there it's prolly an exaust valve. Pop open the oil fill cap and if you hear airflow through the crankcase then your rings are bad and if you open the radiator cap and there is bubles you have a blown head gasket. This is the easiest way to check whats bad in the motor. If it be a valve the only work you have to do is head work. The block doesn't need to come out. Leave it where it is
