Remove the old distributor cap(3 bolts 8mmor 10mm) w/ plug wires attached
Install new cap & tighten gently, its plastic & will crack if over-tightened. switch plug wires over to the new cap in the same spots.
I agree with Hondaracer, basic tune-up stuff he listed is very simple with the right tools. Like he said it would be wise to replace the rotor while the cap is off. Its only a few bucks. Make sure the screw has thread lock on it, honda rotor comes with screw & thread lock applied.
To replace the rotor:
Dizzy cap off
You may need to turn the engine to get at the screw
Remove screw then rotor
Reverse for install - you cant mess it up. You could, but it would be pretty hard to.
