I'm studying Automotive Management; which in the first semester has Basic Chassis and Electrical Systems, Intro to Powertrains, and Engine Repair and Rebuild. Still, many people have explained some ludicrous ways in what they think is double clutching(i.e. shifting from 1st to 2nd, then back to 1st and then 3rd) If you really wanted to get a decent boost why not get going and then downshift one gear and back up...Makes more since to me.
