Im not an expert on Nitrous but ill tell you what i know. I have a dry setup, which is the least powerful setup you can buy. There are now computer controlled kits that inject nitrous with fuel through the fuel injectors, which is the best way to go, and will make much more power than mine and still be reliable. I would go this route, but now that i live on Maui, i dont have much use for the nos anyway.
My kit is just 2 six cylinder dry kits put together. Very basic setup. I have one switch under the dash which when turned on allows the nitrous to come on only under full throttle. I have the 2 jets positioned way back by the air filter boxes. We did this to be safe, as the best place for them is right behind the throttle bodies. As for fuel, with the dry kit i did not have to upgrade my fuel system. The dry kit just sends a pulse to my fuel pressure regulator increasing fuel supply. Very safe way to go, not the most powerful way, but i know several others who have run this way for many years.
As for clutches, my car is now 5 years old and still on its perfect original clutch. I dont do burnouts. The 10.98 was spinning the whole way down the track, with very little track experience in the car.
Great choice on the Sv, do exhaust and airfilters before nitrous, you may be very suprised at the difference those 2 mods make alone.
