good questions. here we go.
if you plan on tuning it yourself at all, buy the s200b. but if you arent planning on tuning it...s100b(b=boost)....now that we have that covered...we shall continue. hondata is a chip that plugs into your ECU which controlls your ECU and over rides certain function. its main functions are fuel management at the different rpms and timing. fuel management allows you to get the proper amount of fuel at every second while boosting which will keep you from blowing your engine. also timing allows the engine to have all the moving parts moving at the correct time. the honda cars arent made for 200-250whp so these things are necessary...why do people suggest hondata? because its cheaper than AEM and you can have it professionally tuned for not that much money.

cost should be around $400-$450 for the unit. check your ecu...it has to be ODBI to run hondata or you have to buy a harness...i dont know what years ODBI is...sorry. tuning should be $250 at most.

install is super basic...its really just plugging the unit into your ECU...really really simple. any moron can do it.

if you buy your hondata from www.ks-motorsports.com they will burn you a base map onto your hondata that will work with your current settings. it wont be perfect and the fuel may be rich or lean at certain RPMs but you can drive on this and boost occassionally without going out ASAP and paying for tuning. I think i got everything...umm www.hondata.com lists offical hondata tuners but lots of people know this system because it works so well with 5-25psi...

Peter Gibbons: Yeah.
Joanna: Won't you get fired?
Peter Gibbons: I don't know. But I really don't like it and, uh, I'm not gonna go.
Joanna: So you're gonna quit?
Peter Gibbons: Uh-uh. Not really. I'm just gonna stop going.
Joanna: When did you decide all that?
Peter Gibbons: About an hour ago.
Joanna: So you're going to get another job?
Peter Gibbons: I don't think I'll like another job.
Joanna: Well what are you going to do about money? Bills?
Peter Gibbons: You know I never really liked paying bills, I don't think I'm going to do that either
