Have you measured the engine bay the VH45de is a very wide engine 26" tappet cover to tapet cover they are about 4 inches wider than a ford cleavland. If your thinking about a Jap V8 the Lexus motor would be easer to fit and you can get around 450 Hp Naturally asterated.

If you can get it in it would be a great car. The other engine I would look at is a RB25 Head on a RB 30 bottom end you can use comodore or Australian Skyline engine mounts and every thing else prity much bolds up.

Thats my thoughts though. The VH45 is a great engine if you can get it in but I doubt it will without serious boddy
