As for your search for 'characters', I believe that Dan Kennedy of Scottsdale, AZ, has lent his F1 to the Discovery Channel before, I'm positive he's lent it to Road & Track before so he might be able to help you out on telling you about them. Also, Jay Leno loves F1's, and if it's possible to get a hold of him I know he could tell you lots about it. You mentioned advice regarding dealers, I know Shelton Ferrari in Ft.Lauderdale, FL, has a Dark Silver F1 and could be helpful on telling you about it. But the absolute genius to go to on your search for info on the F1 would be Gordon Murray, the Chief Engineer on the McLaren F1 project. The F1 was designed 100% by his specifications and wants. If you want to go to the source of the F1, the McLaren Headquarters is in the UK in a city called Woking. I hope I helped!
