I've got a '98 Blazer that won't start. It has no prblem cranking but just won't fire at all. It first happened a month ago in a parking lot....after about an hour of waiting for a tow I happened to crank it again and it started instantly. Last weekend it did the same thing...after waiting a couple of hours it once again started with no problem. Last night I could not get it to start and left it over night...still will not start. I do notice that the check engine light goes on during cranking and the fuel gage goes from 1/4 tank to empty (not sure if this is normal).

Any ideas on possible causes of things to check.
